By creating an account or using Pinky ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Pinky provides remote screen sharing, audio relay, remote control, captions, and optional caption/audio replay capabilities between devices. The Service is accessed through a command-line tool on the host device and a web browser on the viewer device.
Marketing references to "invisible", "mostly invisible", "low-profile", "undetectable by many", "background", or similar wording mean Pinky is designed to stay mostly out of the way after an authorized host starts a session. This is best-effort behavior and is not a guarantee for every operating system, security tool, browser, device policy, or environment. Pinky may still appear in terminal output, process lists, permission prompts, system settings, security tools, diagnostics, network logs, browser UI, notifications, or other operating-system surfaces.

You are solely responsible for all activity under your account. Pinky is a tool - how you use it is your responsibility. We are not liable for any unauthorized, malicious, or illegal use of the Service by you or anyone using your account.
Trial accounts are temporary, disposable, and limited. We may limit trials by account, browser, IP address, device or network signals, usage, human-verification challenges, abuse-scoring indicators, global trial capacity, or other abuse-prevention signals. Trial accounts may be disabled after their 15-minute sharing allowance is used or 24 hours after creation, and we may block repeated trial creation intended to avoid subscription limits.
Screen content, live audio, clipboard content, and input events are transmitted directly between the host and viewer when possible, and may travel through encrypted relay infrastructure when direct connection is unavailable. By default, Pinky does not store live screen content, keyboard/mouse input content, clipboard content, or live audio content on our servers.
If the host enables captions, caption storage, or replay features, Pinky may store viewer microphone audio chunks and final caption text for the host account so that the host can replay the captioned session. The host can enable captions from the terminal or from the host controls/CC button; either action is treated as the host's acknowledgement that captions/replay may be active where storage is available. The host is responsible for telling participants when captions or replay storage is enabled and for obtaining any required consent under applicable recording, wiretap, workplace, education, accessibility, or privacy laws. Viewers may see in-product notices when caption/replay storage is available or active.
We store account data, session metadata, billing information, optional caption/replay content when enabled, and limited technical diagnostics needed to operate, support, secure, and improve the Service. Pinky clients automatically upload diagnostic logs during and after sessions so we can investigate audio, video, reconnect, billing, fraud, and support issues without requiring users to manually send local log files. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.
Current monthly plan prices are Starter at $14.99/month, Pro at $24.99/month, and Team at $49.99/month unless a different price is shown to you at checkout. Starter includes one active session, basic remote control/audio, 3 hours of live invisible captions, and locked caption/audio replay retained for up to 6 months. Pro includes three active sessions, unlimited live invisible captions, and unlocked caption/audio replay retained for up to 6 months. Team includes five team seats, seven shared devices, seven connected viewers, shared team use, unlimited live invisible captions, unlocked captions/replay retained for up to one year, and priority support handling such as faster issue triage, release-compatibility support, and prioritized incident follow-up.
Paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions billed through the payment processor shown at checkout or in the dashboard. By completing checkout, you agree to the selected plan, price, billing period, monthly renewal, refund policy, these terms, and any caption/replay recording notices shown for features you enable. Pinky may require mobile phone verification, a one-time SMS code, or payment-processor identity checks before signup, checkout, card changes, plan changes, or other billing-sensitive actions. The dashboard shows the current plan, recurring monthly billing state, next renewal date when available, payment processor, and cancellation state. Subscription cancellation from the dashboard becomes available 24 hours after the subscription starts when that processor supports the delay. Once canceled, access continues until the end of the current billing period and future monthly renewals stop unless you resume before the period ends. Deleting your account triggers subscription cancellation before the account is removed. No partial refunds are issued for unused time. For billing issues, contact hello@pinky.sh before filing a payment dispute so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
If we add paid caption, replay, storage, or usage-based features, or if plan prices change, the applicable price and billing terms will be shown before purchase, renewal, or feature enablement where required by law.
If you file a payment dispute after receiving or using the Service, we may contest the dispute using relevant account, mobile verification, billing OTP, checkout, payment processor, device, IP address, session, diagnostic, receipt, and support-communication records. Knowingly false or abusive disputes may result in account suspension or termination, and we reserve the right to pursue amounts owed where permitted by law.
We may retain records showing that you accepted these terms, privacy notices, checkout terms, or caption/replay storage acknowledgements for 18 months after account deletion or the end of the related billing/dispute window, whichever is later where legally permitted.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the Service for illegal purposes, without prior notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinky and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes to stored-content, billing, or recording-related terms may require renewed acceptance in the product or during checkout.
